In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service. At Popish Veterinary Clinic, our mission is this:
The purpose of Popish Veterinary Clinic is to enthusiastically provide the highest quality veterinary care possible to our clients' beloved pets. We will constantly strive to be the best at caring for their pets by using the newest technologies, state-of-the-art equipment and the utmost compassion and kindness. We understand that our clients are the most important part of your practice. We always consider it a privilege to serve them!
Our mission statement is derived from years of experience, understanding what it takes to care for pets, as well as run a business. We also have received training in Rotary International's 4-Way Test. The 4-Way test is an established code of ethics, resounding Rotary's guidelines of how people should treat each other. The test consists of a list of questions to ask oneself when interacting with people:
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
For your pet, we feel there are essentials to a good, healthy life. Your pet's annual vet check-up will include a total physical exam, with a thorough investigation of your pet's body from head to tail. The physical exam is essential in understanding your pet's health status. Our veterinarians can help detect health concerns and suggest diagnostics and treatments needed to get your pet on the right track to wellness. They will help explain diseases and give full understanding so you can make the right decision for your pet's welfare.
Our wellness program includes vaccines, parasite control, and a premium diet, such as Hill's Science Diet. Other necessities include health fair blood work, dental cleanings, microchips, and ID tags. Yearly fecal exams, heart worm tests, and feline leukemia tests are needed to give understanding of your pet's health status. We may also discuss behavior issues when needed. There is nothing better than a well trained pet. Many behavior issues can be easily handled, but for those in need of expertise, our animal trainer can be of assistance.
Our veterinary clinic is newly remodeled. With more exam rooms, equipment, and friendly, experienced staff, our ability to serve you and your pet(s) is second to none.
