Appointments

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to schedule your appointment for a variety of services that we offer, including surgeries, dentals, exams, or vaccinations.  Our computerized appointment book allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian on call 7 days a week who is trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately when the clinic is open. Should an emergency occur during non-operating hours, call our emergency number, leave a brief but detailed message, including your immediate contact information, and wait for the Dr on duty to return your call.  Please understand that our hospital offers 24 hour emergency response, not 24 hour care.  We will work to resolve emergencies and offer supportive care.  If your pet should require more constant care, we may refer you to a specialist.  

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.  "Drop-off" service may also be available, allowing you to maintain your schedule while we provide your pet with the needed care and treatments. 

Whether your pet needs a routine visit, or more specialized care, we strive to offer the best in total pet care.  Our newly remodeled facility, along with our qualified staff can tend to your pet's special needs, including our oxygen and climate controlled ICU unit, radiology services, and an isolation ward for contagious diseases. 

Surgery

Surgeries are performed in our spacious, sterile surgery suite, which is equipped with state-of-the-art anesthetic and monitoring equipment.  Our laser capabilities ensure less bleeding, pain, and a quicker recovery time for your pet. 

Dentistry

Your pet's teeth are an important indicator of their overall health, and at Popish we are dedicated to healthy mouths and healthy pets.  Regular check-ups and routine cleanings, as well as more in-depth dental procedures are performed in our dental suite by our skilled Doctors and Technicians, and ensure year round smiles for you and your pet.  

Lab/Pharmacy

Our in-house lab allows us to run many tests, getting faster diagnostic results, improving our care for your pets, and cutting costs to you.  Our well-stocked pharmacy carries what we feel are the best drugs available to treat a wide variety of ailments, allowing us to get your pet's health on track, in the most convenient and cost saving way possible.    

Grooming

Regular, quality grooming helps keep your animals looking and feeling their best with healthy skin and hair coat.  Our professional groomers are here to pamper your pet to your specifications, including quality scissor finishing.  Grooming appointments are available for morning or afternoon drop offs, so that you can carry on with your busy schedule while ensuring your pet will be well cared for and ready for pick up at your designated time.  Because our medical staff is available during grooming hours, minor treatments, vaccinations, or look-sees are available during their stay in grooming as well, for your convenience. 

Boarding

Our boarding facility is ready to care for your pets when they can't be at home.  From day care to business trips and vacations, we can meet your needs.  Dogs enjoy regular trips to our secure, outdoor kennel, and cats enjoy a romp in our indoor exercise facility-complete with movies on the DVD, and plenty of pampering from our dedicated boarding staff.  Schedule additional medical procedures and grooming appointments during their stay for your convenience, and with Drs on site you can rest assured that not only will your pets receive love and attention, as well as quality, supervised care.   

Retail Services

We offer a variety of retail products to fulfill your pet's needs, including leashes and collars, toys and treats, as well as premium food from Hill's Science Diet, all at competitive prices. 

Open Hospital

Popish Veterinary Clinic operates an open hospital.  Our hospital was completely remodeled and updated in 2009-10.  The expansion nearly doubled our space, and allowed us to include upgrades to our services in all areas.  We feel these changes will make your visits here more comfortable and provide the utmost in service and quality care for your pets.  Please feel free to ask for a complete tour on your next visit!
